Isa ibn Maryam Hospital, also known as England Hospital or the Christian Hospital, is one of Isfahan’s oldest and most distinguished medical centers, established in 1904 by the Church Missionary Society of the Anglican Church. Situated on an 11,000-square-meter site with approximately 7,500 square meters of building space—land generously donated by philanthropist Amin al-Shariah—the hospital is renowned not only for its historic and cultural significance, recognized as a national heritage site since 2005 (registration no. 13114), but also for its ongoing commitment to excellence in healthcare. As a public institution affiliated with Isfahan University of Medical Sciences and Health Services, Isa ibn Maryam Hospital combines its rich legacy of interfaith humanitarian service with cutting-edge medical practices to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care to the community.
